Hi Army wife just wanted to say Hi , I am an army mom, my son is stationed out of Fort Polk as well, he deployed to Iraq in November though. His wife is still at home in Fort Polk, she lives in those newer homes just past the check point on the right.

It wouldn't be a bad idea if you found something to occupy your mind..an activity, walking, reading.  You have to shift your focus off food and remember you're not supposed to surprise yourself on how much you can eat.  Are you afraid to not be obese?  Do you remember the reasons you decided on bariatric surgery in the first place?  Are there any support groups in your area?  Perhaps Alexandria?  They work and they're a heck of a lot of fun.  If not, try to team up with someone in your area from the LA message board.    Don't forget the 'rules'.  Know the amount of food you are supposed to eat and eat no more than that.  Eat several small meals a day, don't put 6 hours between meals.  Sip water all day.  Avoid fat.  Count your carbs.  Ingest 40-60 grams of protein a day.  At mealtime, take smaller bites.  Chew your food well, then chew it some more.  No liquids with meals.  Take two chewable multivitamins a day.    You are flirting with stretching out your stomach.  I have witnessed a co-worker regain 115% of the weight he lost and he is walking Death.  You're young.  Enjoy LIFE!   All the best to you, Sweet.  This 'depression' is common with post surgery patients.  You CAN get thru it, but first, take your focus OFF of your misery.
